Master Gardener Interns On Location @ Crump Center!
Interns of the Montgomery Master Gardener Program were learning on location at the Crump Senior Center. Here they learned about the various types of plants and helped preparing gardens for the season.
February 26, 2026
The Capital City Master Gardener Interns enjoyed a hands-on learning experience focused on supporting birds in the landscape. They learned about bluebirds and purple martins and the important role they play in our ecosystem, especially during nesting season.
To put their knowledge into action, they created bird nesting ornaments filled with natural materials for birds to use when building their spring nests. These ornaments will be hung outdoors to help provide safe, accessible nesting resources and encourage healthy bird populations in our community.
