Teacher’s Gardening Learning Day

When:     Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 8:30 am- 3:15 pm
Where:    Forest Ave School ; corner of Pineleaf & East 5th Street in Lilly’s Garden
What:      Faculty K-5 invited to garden during each grade planning period. For the following:

1.  Brief garden history, including previous activities
2.  Discussion of teachers’ goals and ideas for their use of garden for student learning
3.  Light refreshments
Plan:  Six , 30 minute sessions for 4-5 teachers @ grade level

Schedule for the Teachers Day:

.    9:15 – 10:00  (Fifth Grade)
.   10:05-10:50   (Fourth Grade)
.   10:55- 11:40  (Kindergarten)
.   12:50 –  1:35  (Third Grade)
.     1:40 –  2:25  (First  Grade)
.     2:30 –  3:15  (Second Grade)
