Congratulations to Mamie McClure who is the new chair for our Rose-Morris House Garden Project. She has a core committee of teams of two who are scheduled for two-week intervals throughout the year. Each team decides when they will go to the garden during their assigned two weeks to examine the conditions and preform timely maintenance (weeding, pruning, deadheading, etc.) This garden is very special to our membership because it was created on a location that had nothing at all and now has been a lovely southern garden since 2012.
The Rose-Morris Garden Project team can always use more help, especially on the scheduled Spring Cleanup Day, Wednesday, March 12, 2025. So please contact Mamie to let her know you would like to join her committee and show up on cleanup day.
